About

I work at the intersection of operations, data, and technology.

I'm Norman—a supply chain professional and business analyst who enjoys making complicated systems easier to understand and improve.

My approach

I start with the decision: who needs to decide what, with which evidence, under which constraints? From there I work backwards into the process, data, model, and interface.

Experience

My work spans demand planning, inventory optimisation, procurement, business analysis, and decision support. I use Python, SQL, Power BI, and applied AI where they make the operating system clearer—not simply more technical.

What I’m learning now

  • Reliable analytical agents and evaluation
  • Forecasting under sparse, intermittent demand
  • Data product design and semantic layers
  • Better ways to communicate uncertainty

Career principles

Make the problem legible. A shared model of the problem is often the first useful deliverable.

Build for action. Analysis should change a decision, workflow, or outcome.

Show the evidence. Trust grows when assumptions and transformations are inspectable.
